Making the Most of The Farmers Market and Local Tables
Groceries, coffee, tacos, and the twice-monthly market: the food scene around The Ranch punches above its size. This post is the written companion to one of Grant's Orange County Living videos, embedded below, with the local tables worth a detour.
Shop the season on The Ranch
The Farmers Market on The Ranch sets up on the first and third Saturday of the month, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Pavilion, hosted by the Ladera Ranch Chamber of Commerce: produce, food trucks, craft vendors, and kids' activities. When the market is closed, Sendero Marketplace keeps the essentials steps from home, with Gelson's plus burgers and coffee nearby.
Minutes away, old-town San Juan Capistrano adds tacos, garden cafes, and a historic mission, so a Saturday loop of market then town is practically a rite of passage for new neighbors. Ask around the market stalls and you will leave with a real local list.
Re-watch the tour once for the homes and once for the streets.
